Finally, some much-needed answers after The Revenge of Seven and Hidden Enemy! Chief among them - who is GUARD? The answer is, thankfully, revealed in the first novella of this collection, while the remaining two are devoted to GUARD's backstory. And what a backstory it is. Move over, Marina, Nine, Six, SamI've got a new favorite character in this series, and if GUARD doesn't show up in The Fate of Ten, I'll be sorely, sorely disappointed.

This novel was very fun to read. I’m hoping to start the second one as soon as I can. Though I happened to have tons of time to read this book, it only took me a few days with how captivated the book kept me. For the most part, the book was pretty mellow during the build up. Things like training, and everyday affairs keep a reader up to date, but the little tidbits inlaid in those tasks kept the pace steady. Those little bits of information did not always apply to the story immediately. There [...]

The Fugitive: Jolly Roger? It's a family name. I was, I admit, pleasantly surprised with this one. 8/10, I think :) I like that Lore makes nearly all of his characters important-- not to say he doesn't have extras, but there are rarely characters that get large parts without becoming really, incredibly important. That's awesome. I mean, Mark James used to be nothing more than a high school bully oh look how far we've come, haha! The Navigator: I can be a phantom. Anonymous. A ghost in the machin [...]

I actually like Mark's storyline, even though he has been relagated to the novellas. He's definitely made up for all the crap he did to John and Sam in the first book. What annoys me about this book is the story of the loric on the second ship. In I Am Nunber Four John dreams of the second ship and it's three men who are boarding the ship and another man hands them a baby before they take off. In this book it's 2 women and Crayton with baby Ella. If you're going to change the story--fine, but at [...]

10 out of 10. What else is there to say? If you like the Lorien Legacies then you'll like all of the novellas. In some cases the novellas have been so good they give the main series a really close run for their money. I love these, they never disappoint. I wrote a crap-ton of Reading Notes while I was reading this, so feel free to have a peak at them below this review. They might be a bit spoilery even though I marked the really spoilery ones, just a heads up.All of my Lorien Legacies Reviews:Bo [...]

I borrowed this book from my local library. It is the second last Novella of three stories. I enjoyed reading it. The stories were interesting to read.

Lost Files:(#10) The Fugitive:Mark James is still on the after he steals the FBI laptop. All he knows is that he needs to get to the Dulce base to save Sarah, that's where they have her held captive. During his journey he is helped out by his mystery ally GUARD. He knows nothing about the true identity to his new friend. During his journey he runs into FBI agent Walker who now realizes that the Mogs are a bag idea and wants to help the Garde. He still runs into (and thankfully escapes) the FBI a [...]

Rating: 5 starsDisclaimer: Contains spoilers.Posted at: Aestival Reverie----------I should have read this before The Fate of Ten. I really regret this but it's okay. I'll just re-read TFOT to be able to fully appreciate Lexa's character. But to be honest, I'm glad that I've finally read this one after a long time of hunting a copy from various bookstores. It's really hard to find a copy of this book after it was first released here in the Philippines. I've actually got my copy from a small franc [...]

This is a short little prequel that gives you some background information on Number Six, and whets your appetite for the soon-to-be-released sequel to I Am Number Four. The author has an engaging writing style, and if you liked I am Number Four you are going to eat this one up yet wanting a lot more. Which is why they released it a couple of weeks before the sequel. I'm ready, my wife is ready, and both of my kids are ready for the sequel and we all enjoyed this little prequel.I am disappointed [...]

Good insight onto the character of Lexa and some more in depth into Mark James life. Liked the stories. Good amount of cursing, but overall okay for younger readers.

WELL, HELLO AND WELCOME GUARD! I love this character, she's such a badass!Rebel Allies consists of three stories: the Fugitive, the Navigator, the Guard. The Fugitive: 3/5 starsIn 'the Fugitive', the story is about Mark and how he tried to find Sarah. Now Mark is a character whom I really disliked in the first book for apparent reasons, but thank God he turned into this badass person, fighting against the Mogs, and I really like him as a character, with his funny remarks, witty responses etc. Mar [...]

Like the other Lost Files, Rebel Allies fills in gaps and introduces new characters. If you haven’t been reading the novellas, you’re really missing out.The Fugitive picks up Mark’s storyline from where it left off in Return to Paradise. You get his perspective on events that we have only seen through the eyes of the Garde; it was interesting to get a civilian’s perspective. You begin to feel a certain degree of fondness for this stupidly brave teenager who wants to save his ex-girlfrien [...]

5 stars. Its actually more like 4.6 stars to be exact, but since I love the Lorien Legacies, I'm giving it 5 stars. This series is seriously my guilty pleasure read. I get so excited for these books every year, and I don't know what I'll do when the series is over. The Fugitive was good, I liked being able to see everything Mark was up to while we were with the Garde in the other books. I remember reading one part in this story, and I was actually scared and anxious for what was about to happen [...]

I enjoyed this book. Part one is from Mark's perspective and how he found GUARD. Part two and three are from Lexa's perspective and how she became the pilot on Lorien, found the ship on earth and met up with Mark. Lexa is an interesting character, I like her and her character flaws. It will be fun to see where the story will take her. My favorite quotes from this book are:"You can tell a lot about people based on the words they don't want you to read."and"You don't give up faith even when common [...]

Right off, my favorite thing about this book was that it provided some much-needed answers. Chief among them: Who is GUARD??? Unfortunately, I read the fate of ten before I read this books, so GUARD's identity wasn't as much as a surprise for me as it might be for some. One of my favorite things about the lost files novellas is that they are timed right. They start or end right before or after when the actual books take place. This way we learn things that we couldn't have learned from the books [...]

After watching the movie several times with my kids, I found out there was a series. This audiobook was the only one currently available from my library. Found it to be interesting, but very disjointed. I guess it's short stories or pieces the author wrote and decided not to include in one of the other books. Still it definitely held my interest, although the main character was decidedly not my favorite, average intelligence, football player, very little common sense, too much testosterone. Prob [...]

Another good addition to the back stories of the Lorien Legacies. This one explains what happens to Mark James when he runs off in search of a kidnapped Sarah and also who exactly Guard, from They Walk Among Us is. I like Lexa and her stoic, straight to the point personality, it's a good counter for Mark James, who's a bit of a big headed fool, but in an endearing sort of way. It helped to flesh out characters that didn't seem so important before and really help connect all the threads of the se [...]

Another three back stories from the "I am Number Four" series. This time we have the story of Mark James, one of the humans caught up in the fight for Earth (which started as a fight between the Loric and the Mogadorians), and two stories about Lexa, one of the Loric who escapes almost by accident and dedicates her life to protecting the Garde (and Earth). I realise this will mean nothing to anyone who hasn't either seen the film or read any of the books, but if you have, you'll know they are we [...]

This book had three short stories in it, each of them originally being ebooks. The first one, the fugitive was about Mark James trying to find Sarah with the help of an online friend, GUARD. The second one, the navigator is about Lexa, aka GUARD. It's about how Lexa got off of Lorien. The third one, the guard is about when Lexa was helping mark find Sarah, and also what happened after they met up. I picked up this book because I read the other I am number four books and I thought they were prett [...]

I like this book, It is an adventurous book. It is about a boy named Mark and mogs ( known as aliens). The aliens blow up his home town and captured his girlfriend, well his girlfriend is in New Mexico. He goes out an tries to find her, well on his way there he gets a strange text from someone named GUARD. Guard ends up being a girl who send Mark care-packages to help him survive and fight aliens and FBI agents. Mark ends up finding his girlfriend and surviving. I would not recommend this book b [...]

I have read all of the books by Pittacus Lore. This book is about Lexa, Zophie, Clayton and Ella who arrived on earth and are now looking for the rest of the Loric children and their Cepans. Clayton takes Ella and leaves, Zophie is gone, so that leaves Lexa alone trying to figure out what she is to do next. She is searching for any and all information on the internet hoping to be able to help when the Loric fight the Mogs.

Lexa, I'm so glad she is alive. At least, they've got an adult Loric on their side now. With this, I'm also seeing a glimmer hope that maybe, just maybe even just a small number of citizens may have survived Lorien as well. Mark James is wicked! Sarah Hart had become notoriously good and Agent Walker reminds me of Agent Coulson in Avengers. This is a must read for all I Am Number Four fanatics out there!
