Again a very good book, might be better than the other one. This book was fantastic, and not just because of Minecraft, but because it included mystery. The book was about one day Steve's(Main Character) house just gets blown up by TNT and he doesn't know who did it. Not only his house, but they also destroyed his farm, they took his enchanted diamond sword, and they also destroyed and took away stuff from his friends. SPOILER ALERT!!! I got really surprised when Thomas, one of his friends did a [...]

Thomas was the griefer! I could see it coming, but a joke! Really good book.

Liked it because it's about Minecraft and teaches you to never hop down a cave and to never go without armor.

Very similar to the first book, and basically everything I said about that book applies to this one as well; the writing lacks style, some events in the book don't actually conform to the rules of the Minecraft world, and though the editing wasn't as poor in this book, I did make note of one error on page 11: "And why did show up here" Still, again, I have to give the book credit for keeping my first grader interested in reading. He LOVED this book. I do wish he'd read these books himself, but I [...]

The writing was crap compared to the first one (and that's saying something), but if you have children who love minecraft, this story will keep them riveted. It did for my four and six-year-old at least. That's why I gave this book 5 stars rather than negative infinity stars. Like the first one, this book had a little moral at the end (forgiveness/redemption/yada-yada). For an adult = total garbage; for a child obsessed with minecraft = literature's equivalent of crack. Book three is due back at [...]

The kids and I finished this last night. Basically, it is a story set inside of the Minecraft game world. In this world someone is "griefing" the characters and leaving behind a little piece of wool. The kids were captivated by the mystery and the story which had a lot of action. I learned quite a bit about the Minecraft world from my 9-year old who explained to me about the various things we read. We inadvertently started with book 2 in the series so we will have to go back and read book 1 next [...]

Steve and his friends have to go threw series of events trying to get back what they once had. He wanted to take revenge on the person, that destroyed his wheat farm. I recommend this book to people who like the video game Minecraft.
