I like that this volume felt like an old timey western and also Kenny the Ripper is terrifying and needs to go away.

I'm so attracted to Captain Levi, it ain't even funny.

Whaaaat?!?! I swear, this series has the best (or should I say worst?) cliffhangers.Great vol, as expected. I'm really enjoying the political aspect of the story in last few volumes, but I do wish that next one would have more action in it.

How to kill a king. The musical! Well, if gunshots were music, that is.The survey team has gone nuts, but it's not like I can't appreciate the reasons. Levi is a real psychopath, though.

"So you like Attack on Titan and want more shocking revelations about the Wall and the Reiss family? Congratulations. We will now set aside all the relevant, Titan-related storylines and watch Levi and a serial killer have a shootout in a Wild West saloon. You're welcome, guys." -- Hajime IsayamaThings I like about Attack on Titan:• The anime’s theme song is incredible. I jam out to it while studying, walking the dog, cooking dinner, etc.• Those uniforms are a cosplayer’s dream. Been to [...]

I think it is my least favorite volume, as it doesn't feel like Attack on titan . It feels like some western action movie. The first part was good though.I didn't get the essence of this volume. Like, what is happening? Has everyone gone crazy?

(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)]🤔You don't say.Lot more scheming in this volume along with some new characters and reveals. The story is getting a bit convoluted now but it's still entertaining.About the new titan theory, (view spoiler)[ that if a human-turned-titan eats a human who can turn into a titan then they turn back into a human and can control their transformation what about the bearded titan that originally ate Eren? Are we just assuming that the bearded titan wasn't a special one? [...]

StoryThis is another volume that is both satisfying and frustrating at the same time. I love all the politics and mystery behind the walls. We learn a lot more about the rich and a little more about the titans, but not nearly enough for my liking. Most of the questions I've had since finishing the anime and picking up the manga still haven't been answered, though I'm far from bored with the story.ArtworkThe artwork continues to be good, but not great. The action sequences do seem to be improving [...]

This series is so satisfying and also super suspenseful and I just love every minute of it!! The cliffhanger at the end is one of my favorites thus far - I can't wait to learn more about Levi's backstory. The political intrigue explored in these last two volumes has been great as well. If you haven't picked up Attack on Titan for one reason or another, do yourself a favor and give it a read!

Cada vez se me hacen más adictivos los volúmenes, y me gustan tanto que no puedo evitar ponerles 5 estrellas a todos. Attack on Titan es mi guilty pleasure.

Now I feel like I'm reading Trigun again. And can somebody explain why all this is necessary to do BEFORE fixing the wall and getting to Eren's basement? Seems like this is all stuff that I might care more about after we learn all the important secrets. And WTF is up with the monkey thing?!?!?! You can't just throw a giant talking monkey at me and not address it for two volumes!!!! Screw the political upheaval and scandalous murders and cover ups I wanna know about the gorram monkey!!!!

    13. Makenzie on said:

Wow kinda sad it took this long for the series to start getting GOOD. This has been the best volume in the series yet, hopefully it stays this way. However, this series will never get higher than a 4 star rating from me because the artwork is still very rough (I don’t understand how these books get 5 star ratings, do you people forget about the terrible art???). Still can’t tell who is who, unless they are mentioned by name lol.

I read the rest of the manga in a website but I bought this special one because can we admire Levi's amazing face ? * Swoon* I'm thinking of buying the rest of the manga so I would feel satisfied with myself ~ oh my goodness , someone should inform this to my poor wallet . 5 stars ◝(๑⃙⃘′ᗨ˂̶๑⃙⃘)◞

I'm loving the political intrigue of the last couple volumes!! Up to this point it's been action on more action, which is great, but in this arc we're getting a proper glimpse of the rest of the world inside the walls, and a sense of the bigger picture. The character development is exciting and I'm also happy to say that the art is steadily improving. Hooray! But ooooh, the cliffhangers

    16. Mo on said:

See, the reason why I picked up these books in the first place was because I had a lot of unanswered questions after finishing the anime. I'm not really fond of the fact that the main storyline got almost completely abandoned at this point.

    17. Tina on said:

Almost caught up. I really liked that this volume ended on a cliffhanger (though I hated it at the same time), and I also liked the introduction of a (possible?) new character. Everything is starting to make sense now. I'm totally hooked.

    18. Amber Hetchler (アンバーちゃん) on said:

Shiiiitttt. This series has the most effed up cliffhangers.

    19. Callie Rose Tyler on said:

Lots of discoveries and an action packed ending.(view spoiler)[So if a human turned titan eats another human that is also able to turn into a titan, they become sentient. Historia is definitely a princess but maybe her father isn't as evil as he seems? And it seems that 107 years ago when the walls were built the people were brainwashed to forget their history in order to keep them under control. (hide spoiler)]

Squad Leader Hange Zoe — oh you mean Squad Leader Heart Eyes! If I start counting the reasons I love Hange, we'd be here all day. Also just gonna add, poor Moblit is going to have a heart attack one of these days! 'Squad Leader, you are TOO CLOSE!', 'Squad Leader, you are BEING RECKLESS!', 'Squad Leader, PLEASE STEP BACK!'. Aka SQUAD LEADER PLS STOP TRYING TO KILL ME BEFORE MY TIME BY DOING CRAZY RECKLESS THINGS!

Blades v Guns with western movie vibes is what you get in this vol.Captain Levi steals the show and no amount of conspiracy revelation can top that.

reading this just makes me want the anime even more :|

I really like the political aspect of the series that is heightened from volume 13 as we learn more crucial information about the titans and the ''role'' of Eren and Krista. In this specific volume there are also many action scenes with guns that remind me of western movies!
