(Source: I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to author Sunita Venchard.)“Your sister is weak, but she is surviving on your strength. She has, at the most, four weeks to live. You will soon begin to feel some of her symptoms. If a cure cannot be found in those four weeks, you will both die!”This was an okay YA fantasy story, but it was a little too much fantasy for me really.I felt quite sorry for Sheysu, it was awful for her that her sister was s [...]

This is a good book for readers of all ages’; it has a bit of everything, romance, great characters, original tribal worlds, fantasy, adventure and a plot full of twists and turns that all readers love. The pace is excellent as is the narrative and the reader is taken along with the protagonists for these adventures as she hsearches for a cure for her dying sister.4.75/5 STARS: **I want to thank the author and/or publisher for providing a copy of this book via GoodReads in exchange for an hone [...]

I was given this in exchange for an honest review. The storyline of Revive, was about one half of a set of twins, Sheysa , going on a journey to discover a cure for her sister who had shockingly dropped into a coma after spending weeks on a secret painting. Sheysa due to the connection with her twin was also sharing the illness but she was told that she would be the only one able to go on the journey to find the cure and that her sister was drawing on her own strength to remain alive. Revive is d [...]

It was okay but an enjoyable read. I liked the adventures Sheysu went through. On her journey, she not only found the cure for her sister but has found friendship, her heritage, and most especially love.I pitied Sheysu for the hardships she experienced. I most especially felt for her when she felt her sister's true feelings for her. I admired the way she handled that information at the same time I wonder how her relationship with her sister will be when she goes back.I liked her love interest wi [...]

What a great adventure! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to the sequel. The more I read the more I became immersed in the characters and their mission to save Sheysu's twin sister in this creative and vivd new world. In particular, I enjoyed the animal themes and tribes that ran through this novel and if I had to pick, I would most definitely be a Canidae!I can't wait to see what happens next!

Really got into Sheysu's story and looking forward to the next one in the trilogy! A friend recommended this to me and at first I thought it was for younger readers, but then I got glued to the story and loved adventuring through the different lands. Now I must admit to being somewhat forlorn that I finished the book and have to wait for the next part of the journey

I received this book in an exchange for an honest reviewI am not too sure entirely how I feel about this book. I like this book, but there are certain things contributing towards not me liking this book. The kingdom or tribes that are described in Animalia are very hostile and even vile, there were a lot of things about these tribes which were very convoluted which made it very difficult for me to understand some of it. (view spoiler)[ If Sheysu is a mixed blood, does that make her sister too? P [...]

+++I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.+++Overall this was an ok read. The story has potential and I want to read book 2 to find out how it continues. (view spoiler)[ Sheysu is a relatable and likable heroine and I rooted for Aurum from the beginning. In the beginning I had problems getting into the story but once I was over 60% and the journey to find the healer really started I finished it pretty quickly. The almost spiritual Interpretation of Sheysu [...]

I received an electronic copy of this book by the author for an honest review.I enjoyed this book, but it felt like most of the storyline was a bit too straightforward. There wasn't that much character building, I'd have liked to get to know more about the characters. That would've also made the relationships between characters a bit more believable.I did really like the idea of the tribes of Animalia, where every tribe has the character traits of their animal. The book was a real adventure and ke [...]

I received an electronic copy of this book by the author for an honest review. I thought that the story was fast paced and enjoyed going on this journey with Sheysu, as she struggles to save the life of her twin sister and herself. Her quest takes her to many unfamiliar places and allows her to encounter people from different cultures. Although it was a quick read, it was no less exciting. It had all of the elements of a great adventure novel - mystery, intrigue, unfamiliar surroundings, and eve [...]

I received an electronic copy of this book by the author for an honest review.I liked this book. It is fast paced, and it got me hooked. Most things were a bit predictable, but the story wasn't about some big revelations, it was a simple and straight forward story. I would have wanted the pace to be a bit slower. I wanted to get to know the characters, to learn about them and see them interact more. The love also felt a bit rushed. I enjoyed the world, and would love to get to see more tribes in [...]

This is a most enjoyable fast paced, adventure story with an interesting theme if you can find it. A good choice for teenagers upwards. Hopefully the next book will be written soon as I want to know what happens to all the characters in the first book.

A very cleverly written, fast paced book which I could envisage making a great fantasy/sci-fi film sometime in the future. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
