      It's hard to argue with a well-researched book that's available for free download. I've been self-publishing for years, but have only started taking the pursuit seriously in the last year, so it was helpful to have a catch-up book to make sure I haven't left any stones unturned.La Ronn's book largely summarizes the kboards forum, self-publishing podcasts, and the blogs of top indie authors like Konrath and Howey, and the lack of editorialization on the author's part could be considered the title [...]

      This was a good quick read.If you're looking for an overview of what happened in the indie publishing world in 2014, this is the place to start. I was familiar with much of the contents, given that I keep up with a lot of the source material in the book, but it was still a good refresher. I. C. Robledo Author
