2.5 StarsOpposites attract. Enemies igniteI had high hopes for this since I really enjoyed Take Me if You Dare. Tabitha stood out right away as a heroine I thought I'd love. She was sassy, balls to the wall type of personality, and with a sense of humor to boot. Then enter the enemies to lovers trope and I'm putty in your hands. It's a guaranteed winner, right? Not in the case of this book, unfortunately.Andrew Bode is a stuffed shirt if there ever was one. I'm pretty sure the man has OCD, and h [...]

2 - "You've always been a bit of a nosey busy-body." Stars.I really enjoyed the first novella Take Me if you Dare in Nina Crespo's Birthday Dare series, so I had great hopes for the second novella Naughty Little Wishes being just as good.Tease Take BiteSadly, it wasn't the case on this occasion. Nina's writing style is just as engaging, but that in itself made it even more of a disappointing read when the characters you are engaging with are so uninspiring and outright annoying. Tab and Drew wer [...]

If you're looking for a short read with some sexy action and a couple that aren't each other's biggest fans, then Naughty Little Wishes is that. Having loved the first novella in the series, I was looking forward to seeing what Tabitha's and Drew's story brought.Unfortunately as a couple, they didn't work out for me as I was hoping; I never felt invested in them and, despite the fight between them, they lacked the spark I was anticipating. Tab infuriated me and Drew just didn't flick my switches [...]

This was a steamy quick read. I liked the characters. I enjoyed the story. I was very pleased with the authors style of writing. Everything flowed wellC provided by publisher.

This steamy story tells of the romance between Tabitha and Drew. A bad accident 5 years earlier has affected Drew deeply and makes him rigid and controlled in his approach to life. Tabitha is the opposite of everything he is - fun loving, exuberant, daring Drew to let loose and be the man he used to be. When a business arrangement between them leads to some bedroom fun and games, Drew tries to keep the upper hand but as Tabitha invades his home, she also invades his heart. But when Tabitha goes [...]

arc provided by publisherA great, quick read. Lots of hot sex, a little drama, weirdo ex, a great BFF. Really enjoyed it except for the all too quick ending. There's a previous book with her bff (Take Me If You Dare) and there's plenty of hot guys for more books.

ZOMGTHISWASSOGOTDAMNAWESOME!!!Nina Crespo is a new author to me but I have fallen in insta-LOVE with her voice and damn if I have not added Birthday Dare #1 to the top of my reading list and praying that it does not disappoint. I literally could not read this fast enough! Chapter one sets up a cute, fluffy little story line and I settled in ready to have some opposites attract romancy brain candy to pass the afternoon. FALSE. I was fully engaged! By chapter four I was clutching my pearls, by cha [...]

ARC generously provided by entangled publishing in exchange for an honest reviewTabitha Drake is a flirty, fun personal stylist, who loves ice cream. Her friend, Jasmine - from the 1st in this series, works for Andrew Bode, and when Tab first meets the CEO of the military contracting firm, she finds herself in hate with him. They agree on nothing, and appear to aggravate the hell out of each other by just being at opposite ends of every issue.Drew finds himself outside his comfort zone whenever h [...]

When I read Nina Crespo’s debut novella, Take me if You Dare, the first book in her Birthday Dare Series, I couldn’t wait to read more from her and see what else she had in store for the series. Unfortunately, Naughty Little Wishes did not live up to its predecessor. I HATED Tabitha from the very beginning. Yes, hate is a very strong word but it applies to her. Because of her, I found the book hard to read.Tabitha Drake is a personal stylist who travels the country, taking people’s closets [...]

****An Advance Reader's Copy of Naughty Little Wishes by Nina Crespo was generously provided to me by the publisher in exchange of honest review.3.5 stars, good but not exactly my favorite. But certainly better than book 1. Tabitha is untameable. She's fierce, she's strong and she got her eyes set on Drew. The thing is, the cold, steel-hard CEO, Drew, refuse to have anything with Tabitha. Even though on the inside, he feel so much fire to this naughty young lady. What will happen next when Tabit [...]

This is a first Nina Crespo read for me. I did like this one enough. It’s a cute story with a sassy h and a structured H with sexiness hidden underneath. I like how Tab is exactly what Drew needs. Tab is funny and in-your-face. Drew is rigid at first because of his past but I like how he was unraveling slowly because of Tab. There were funny moments from their interactions. The chemistry between the 2 is hot! There is insta-lust but the real feelings built up in time and that was nice to see. I [...]

I have to say, I absolutely love the enemies to lovers fiction trope. It’s hot. It’s snarky. It usually has stubborn, passionate characters. All the things I love in a pairing. And Naughty Little Wishes delivered on all three.Tabitha is a sexual woman who revels in her passionate nature and isn’t afraid to let her lovers know exactly what she wants from them. She’s a successful businesswoman running an enterprise of fashion consultants with many big-name clients. But she’s also a bit t [...]

Disclaimer: I received an eARC of this book from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. Yes, these are my honest and personal thoughts on this book. Why did I want to read this book?A snarky heroine and an sexy but uptight hero is a combination I can definitely get on board with. I wanted to witness their interactions and all the transitions in their relationship that are bound to happen. What a naughty little treasure! This delicious novella got me entertained with no effort at all. A tough man with past traumas too rigid to let change free him and an outrageously spontaneous woman who'll challenge him all the way to happiness. I really liked how outspoken and unbendable Tab is, she never wavers when she defends her stance, job or free style. And I loved how she could maneuver Drew into opening up little by little. It's not an easy road, though. He's stuck in the past and it's co [...]

Nina Crespo delivers a fun, sexy read with her second instalment if the Birthday Wishes series. IF you haven’t read the first one, Take Me if You Dare do so before reading this book. It’s closely connected and you will feel like you missed something if you don’t.That said, this was a fantastic read that will show that the line between love and hate is very thin and once crossed it can never be uncrossed.Andrew and Tabitha are like oil and water. I'd assumed the enemies to lovers trope would have made this book a fun, rollicking ride and Tabitha and Andrew certainly seemed to be the couple to get me high on this favourite trope. Tight and fully buttoned up - with so many delicious control issues to explore, Andrew could have been the perfect male specimen to unravel, both in the bedroom and out of it. Tabitha's own past could have made her a model of psychiatrists and profilers and her own control issues were just screaming to be dealt w [...]

****A gifted copy was provided by the publisher for an honest review****This is the story of Tabitha and Drew. Andrew Bode, CEO of the Bode-Wynn military contracting firm, is majorly tight. as in , no emotions . He was like a robot. Tabitha Drake, personal stylist, was the opposite. She was very free in her emotions and said what was on her mind. A bad accident several years before had deeply affected Andrew and had almost lost him his legs. It changed him from the care-free loving guy he was in [...]

Personal stylist Tabitha Drake is a free spirit. When she meets Andrew Bode, she is irritated by his uptight attitude. He doesn't believe in fun. What is his problem? It looks like she'll find out. He needs her help to keep an important client. These two may be total opposites, but when they are in the same room sparks fly. Their attraction is powerful and sensual. If only they weren't always fighting. Can they work together without killing each other? Tab is so likeable and open. She and her fr [...]

Tabitha Drake and Andrew Bode had one of those attractions that they couldn't stay in the same room without arguing about anything and everything but the sexual chemistry is explosive. 2.5 stars for Tabitha and Andrew. I enjoy the adversaries to lovers trope, but something about this couple didn't work for me. Perhaps it was the feeling of being thrust into their story without enough background, as I discovered this is book 2 in series. Both Tabitha and Andrew were initially introduced in the first book, so maybe if I'd read that one I'd understand them better. Here they went from verbally sparring to screwing in the bathroom at an important event. I think I missed the buildup [...]
