This series just gets better and better. Once again the story is set in Montana, this time around the Fourth of July--making it the perfect summer weekend read.Sky Fischer is a very likeable character, and I love the interaction between her and her brothers and parents. Boone, the man she can’t quite open her heart to because she’s too focused on another man--someone she’s been determined to catch for a long time--is also a great character. He’s a decent, kind man who remains decent and [...]

I was fortunate enough to get an advanced copy of this book, and I couldn't put it down! Growing up in a small town that sounded just like Willow brought back many memories for me. The characters were so realistic, I felt like I grew up with this family after reading just a few pages. Thank you Cynthia for a great read!!!

EEEEEE! LOVE IT! :D Like the other two, this story is preciously wonderful , and real, and just good! :) If you read the first two books in this series, you will fall for these characters like you did them. You'll fall in love with the Brody Boy, and Sky's brothers are a hoot! Trent will touch your heart. This is a great read for a mother and daughter. It just warms your heart right up!Thanks, Cynthia! You're working on #4, right? ;D

Enjoyable, I didn't realize it was a series which is good because that means I could read it without knowing what was happening before this book. I like the idea of romance happening over a weekend. It's a quick, sweet read and though somewhat predictable it didn't matter.

Full review now available on my blog: thewritinggreyhound/ * I received a copy of this book for free via First Reads.Bruner has managed to capture the essence of what I imagine small town life to be like. The whole town is like one big extended family, and everyone has a sense of belonging. I can just picture celebrating the Fourth of July in a town like Willow, where everyone comes together and joins in to enjoy the holiday together. Fireworks, dancing, and cowboys abound, yet in the middle of [...]

I feel a little tardy, reading this book just after the holiday, but it was a nice chance to savour that holiday vibe just a bit longer. Like the other books in the series this novella takes place over a long weekend and gives the reader a chance to celebrate Independence Day with a salt-of-the-earth Montana woman and her close family of devout Christians. I missed my trip home this year; this book was a really good consolation. I've given the book 5 stars, but that's honestly rounding up from 4 [...]

Carrying a torch for the wrong guyGood story and well developed characters. Interesting plot. Sky has been "in love" with Kevin since she was eight but he doesn't really notice her. Enter Sky's coworker, Boone, who poses as her boyfriend. When Kevin finally takes notice, Sky realizes that they have both changed more than she thought.

I won this from . This book is set in Montana on the 4th of July. This is a good clean Christian book, the plot is okay but not a very fresh concept. Sky has a crush on the boy next door who is a real jerk and not a good person so she takes Boone to it to make him jealous. She does see boy 1 is no good and boy 2 could be her perfect mate. I would have liked a more concrete ending.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I just loved Boone, and the relationship between him and Sky was realistic. A lovely 4th of July themed read!
