      I've never been more happy to be confused in my entire life!The Protector Project is such a complex and extraordinary world and although I found it hard to keep up at times it was such a great read that I didn't mind it that much.Honestly I didn't expect that I'd love this book as much as I did. I was having a good time, liking Mara and how capable and honest she is, but when I first met the tree character, I started reading to see if she would become a central player.       Sometimes I read a young adult book, and I think it's okay, but some of my students will like it. This book, however, was hard for me to put down. It will intrigue not only teenagers, but adults will like it also. I will spend time still thinking about the main characters, Mara and Dalin, in the next few weeks, and I'm excited for the sequel to come out.
