Great story of coming home, community, and new love. Elli Eversol returns to Sand Dollar Cove to care for her grandmother and help the town residents repair their shops after a hurricane damaged them. What she discovers is that the pier is beyond repair, to town never gives up, and the help and kindness of one can motivate many. Loved this one! I definitely recommend it.

I loved this book! The Outer Banks are my favorite place on this planet. While reading this, I could picture people and places in this book that could match up with the real location. This book took me back to many happy memories. The sense of warmth and community in this book is exactly what OBX is to people who see it beyond the sea and the sand. I can totally imagine this story happening out in Wanchese, where they DO have that accent mentioned, or even in Colington Harbor or the Avalon Beach [...]

Simply PerfectNancy Naigle has given readers the perfect day at the beach, day beside the pool , day on the deck or day on the sofa read. I thoroughly enjoyed Sand Dollar Cove and found Elli's story to be pleasantly pleasing and simply perfect. I knew as soon as I started reading this book I wouldn't stop until reaching the end, and when I got to the end I was all smiles and quite satisfied.I would love for Ms Naigle to write more Sand Cove books; perhaps a continuation of Elli's and Brody's sto [...]

3.5, actually. This is a fun summer read set in the Outer Banks, the small town of Sand Dollar Cove to be exact. Elli Eversol spent her entire summers during childhood in Sand Dollar Cove with her grandparents, Pops and Nana. It's a special place for her. At one time, she thought she would move there, but her father made her promise to live in the big city for at least two years before she decided. One year led into another and before she knew it, it'd been almost five years since she'd even tho [...]

This is a simple, warm and happy love story. I love romances that are set on the coast and Sand Dollar Cove makes me want to go live there!Nancy's books are always strong on family and family loyalty and this is no exception. Nana is a wonderful character and I could almost see the twinkle in her eye!I won't say too much about the actual love story - there are two males in contention and if I say too much, I'll give the game away! Elli definitely makes the right decision though ;)

Plus Five StarsThis book was a little different than the usual romance book, but that's what made it so great. Ellie was such an interesting heroine, who is her hero, Holden or Brody? You have read to find out, it's more than worth it. I loved this book enough that I wish you could rate it higher.

Sweet readThis was a sweet, quick read. There was some predictability, but it didn't really take away from the book. What did take away was bad grammar, misspellings, using "they're" when it should have been "their," and nothing is ever the "first annual." The first time an event is held, it is the inaugural event.

Likable, relatable characters. Sweet romance. A touch of faith. An enchanting setting. An emotional conflict. All combine in Sand Dollar Cove to create an enjoyable, entertaining read.

Elli Eversol used to spend every summer at her grandparents beach home in Sand Dollar Cove, North Carolina at Sol Mate. Her grandparents own a shop on the pier that she would help with. That pier and stores mean a lot to them her great granddaddy built it all. That is where her granddad met her grandma. She was always so proud of the fact that her great granddaddy had a part in the whole pier experience as well as her grandparents. The year she went off to college was a terrible summer. She had [...]

Sand Dollar Cove by Nancy NaigleA short sweet romance that has a small town conflict and triumph; a wrong guy and the right hero; a grandmother that needs a little help; and a best friend that will drop anything for the heroine. A great book with a feel good "awww" at the end, although it sure took her long enough to recognize him for being the hero.Loved the story.

First reviewed at Keeper BookshelfSand Dollar Cove is such a lighthearted, fun romance. Elli had been busy with an online renovation project where people donated funds to help rehabilitate the pier at Sand Dollar Cove. In exchange for their support, they would have their names memorialized forever on the boards that recreate the pier. It was a successful plan with help coming in from unexpected people. One of those people was Brody, he would be creating the boards on this project.Every fairytale [...]

This is my first encounter with this author and I like her articulate writing style and the concept of Sand Dollar Cove. Elli is a realtor who returns to Sand Dollar Cove to oversee the work required to repair the damages sustained by the pier during a storm. She has fond memories of the time spent with her grandparents but she has some not so nice memories too. It turns out that the situation is worse than she expected. There are some underhanded plans taking place and these could be detrimenta [...]

A sweet romance, PERFECT I just finished Sand Dollar Cove!! What fun it was and refreshing to read an upbeat romance!! When Elli came back to Sand Dollar Cove, she didn't expect to fall in love. Skee was there to see her Grandmother, and we how project was going to repair the pier that had taken a beating in strong storm or hurricane. Instead she finds out while having coffee with her friend, that her old boyfriend is back in Sandy Cove. He'd left to go off to college and never said a word to he [...]

Ms. Naigle has written a hit, at least with me. Perhaps it is because being from NC, I can say that she has truly capture the flavor of coastal North Carolina. The description of walking on the sand and pier along with Elli interactions with the people who lived in Sand Dollar Cove brought back so many memories.Ellie and Brody make such a great couple. This type of romance has been used before in slightly different ways by Ms. Naigle, but it is still very effectively used here. I like both these [...]
