Really liked this one. I laughed so many times while I was reading this!

4.5 Stars - I really enjoyed this volume, it has one of my favorite stories so far in it - The Night of the Apples! It was so funny and cute.

Less organic and fun than some other comics for younger readers that I've experienced recently, like Lumberjanes. This was much more of a slog, and the individual stories super long. However, my three-year old daughter loved it. Even when I'm not reading it to her, she sits with the book at nap time and looks at the pictures.

Pony wrestling matches, a town vs. country feud over the first structure in Ponyville, and Night of Living Apples with vampire ponies to the rescue. Some great selections in this issue. Alice likes the killer apples from the last story the best, especially when they lead to Flutterbat. This one had a very sweet lesson at the end from Princess Celestia, who has to explain why they should give the apples their own land and another chance:"Everyone had bad aspects to their personality. Ego. Vanity. [...]

The first story had a really terrible artwork that made me cringe, the story itself was also very badly written. The first two parter was about the dispute between whether Sweet Apple Acre or Rarity's boutique was the first building in Ponyville, all hell broke loose when people joined either party. The last two parter was kinda fun, but it was non-canon.

Three new original and fun stories featuring twins, wrestling, apples, pony jokes, references to the show, cameos from my favorite background ponies, and illustration from one of my favorite artists. I flew through this volume and loved every single second.

3.5 stars. A bit of a hit and miss, but the bad apples story was quite good.

With these last two volumes I haven't laughed as much as I did with the previous ones, but I enjoyed it better than the previous one
