      I saw the author, Taryn Scarlett, state that For Love of the Enemy was her favorite of her Sin and Honey series so far, and I absolutely agree. It's my favorite of the series so far, as well. It was impossible to read this story without thinking of Artemisia Gentileschi's beautiful Baroque portraits of Judith and her handmaiden beheading Holofernes, stealing away with head. And Taryn's reimagined tale of Judith's sacrifice is just as beautiful. details from the series of Judith's slaying of Holo [...]
