This was a cute clean read which is very enjoyable about a woman who helps a friend who is a geek get the girl he wants. As in most short stories you cannot say too much or it gives the story away. It was a pleasant listen that is entertaining over a man who doesn’t have a style finding away to get to the heart of the lady he lovesMax was just a dearly of a man who doesn’t have a clue how to make a girl like him. Jen doesn’t like the way he is treated and decides to give him a helping hand [...]

I liked the story. The characters were interesting and I enjoyed the interaction of all characters including the secondary characters. The concept was fun and the story was well written. Loved the narrator and her narrative including voice changes to match story and some sound effects! Received copy for honest review!

Short, easy-read about the a matchmaker falling for the person she is determined to match make. Geeks are typically my downfall and it wasn't hard to like Max's geeky, shy ways and Jen's initial compassion and soft spot for him made me like her even more. *ARC by netgalley(and I'm ever grateful, mind)

Pretty good writing with lots of showing; I loved the characters and the handsome shy hero with glasses – he blushes! – is a gem. Five stars - because of the novelty.
