some really sweet short stories from the MBRC (magical beings rehab centre) series in here. I recommend reading the two main books in the series first however (my life at the MBRC, farewell to the MBRC) as the stories won't really mean anything to you unless you have read them. They are rather charming stories that tell of some of the things that happen after the 2nd MBRC book, such as (SPOILER!) Morgan's marriage to Devin the Pooka.worth a read for fans of the series.

Definitely not a stand-alone anthology as you must have read the first two books for these stories to make sense. That said, the stories fill in the future nicely.

A collection of stories which take place a few years after Farewell to the MBRC. Good, but not as good as the first two books.

I'm so glad to hear that Ms Shea is going to write another story in this world and I am eager to see who the main character will be. I have a few guesses but can't be sure. This is a fun collection of short stories that tells you a bit about what happened after happily ever after and I really liked them. Each managed to give you a glimpse into the different aspects of grown-up Morgan's life. The stories are not bogged down with detail or explanations that would make them confusing or make it fee [...]

Morgan is back and at it again! In this series of short stories from the M.B.R.C time is steadily passing as we see snippets of Morgan's life through the next few years as she and her world grow and change. From proposals and marriages, to wild birthdays and a Kraken who isn't quite what she imagined! This, sadly, is the end of the M.B.R.C. series, and I shall greatly miss it. The story is complete but still leaves you wanting more just for the sake of it. That, my friends, is the sign of a good a [...]

A bit of fun w/the MBRC gangEach chapter intentionally (I think) jumps around to different moments in Morgan's life between the ages of 18 & 25, so that the reader doesn't try to make larger connections between chapters other than them being about Norgan. We get to see a bit of her relationship with the long-suffering Devin, follow Krad's rehabilitation, and get hints about her working relationship w/Aysel. There isn't really much more of a plot connecting the chapters, but it is a fun read. [...]

I won a copy in a give-away by the author, but that doesn't influence my opinion. You loved the MBRC series and want to know a little more about Morgan's future? Then you have to read this book! It's very short but has the typical MBRC humor and I can recommend this to the fans of the series.

A random collection that doesn't add much to the series and raises more questions than it answers. I got the impression that these would be better suited to chapters in a book (where the mini-mysteries introduced might have some resolution at a later date).

Just too goodThe stories throw more light on previous scenes and eventually gives the book closure but I'm sad to see the end of this series. I totally enjoyed it and look forward to more like it.
