This is the perfect book to get you in the Christmas spirit! Ruby and North both approach the work of bringing holiday cheer from different backgrounds, but both have a great character arc as they come to realizations about their current lives and make changes that show that compassion and forgiveness are more important than what they were holding on to. They have great chemistry and even though their friendship has some rocky moments, they are a pleasure to read. North is so charismatic and I l [...]

I'm just going to start this review by saying this was the perfect holiday romance book. I really loved it. I'm pretty sure it should be a Hallmark show.Ruby starts out the book expecting a proposal from her boyfriend. She is fully focused on doing whatever it takes to make this happen and so comes off in the beginning rather self centered and snotty. Maybe to some extent, she is. When Ruby's mother gives her an assignment right before Christmas it is both an answer to her prayers, and a nightma [...]

Christina delivers the perfect Christmas story in this inspirational romance that will have you rooting for North and Ruby, enjoying the holidays in Nashville, and looking at Santa in a new light. I love it when I find a great holiday read that is well-written and brings the Christmas Spirit! Christina is wonderfully talented at crafting a story that is so much more than the generic romance. Her characters have spunk, drive, and heart that makes me want to meet them. In North for Christmas, you' [...]

It's a lot easier to follow the wish of a heart than it is to set it aside and think of others and that's just the lesson that Ruby learns when her mother sends her to work as an elf for the holidays. Ruby is yearning to go to Italy for Christmas, so her long-time boyfriend can finally propose. But when does life work out as planned? Ruby is hard-working and no stranger to digging in and showing determination to get what she wants. In fact, she's kind of a snob at first.North is also working as [...]

***4.5 stars***This book brings out the true meaning of Christmas on many levels.Ruby wants to go to Italy for the holidays. She thinks that a proposal from her boyfriend of three years is imminent and going to Italy with his family will be the perfect time and place. Her perfect Italy plan is put in jeopardy when she doesn't have all of the funds she needs. Her mother refuses to help her out and instead sends her to check out the charitable contributions the company helps each Christmas. She is [...]

Ruby has to get to Italy; she knows that if she makes this trip to Italy with her long term boyfriend, this will be the time he finally proposes. However, getting the money for this trip is turning out to be harder than she thought. Ruby asks her mother, CEO of the company she works, for for a special bonus; her mother agrees with a condition; she must go investigate the North Pole program, a charity that their company helps support; to see if they should continue their support. Ruby believes sh [...]

I was super excited to read this book, I've read Christina Dymock's books before and loved them and I was not disappointed!Ruby's plans for Christmas are to go to Italy with her boyfriend Justin and get engaged. That's all, nothing hard, but Ruby doesn't have the money to pay for herself, so she's asked her wealthy mother to help her out, but her mom lets her know that she will not be paying for Ruby to go to Italy and instead donates the money to yet another charity. To make matters worse, her [...]

This is a great short read to reread every year December to get you in the holiday spirit. It is short and has everything that a great Christmas story should have. Two stubborn, yet "broken" characters, the reason of the season (giving of one's self), elves, and of course love. A lot of miracles happen around Christmas time, and sometimes people just need a little nudge to realize what they really need. I am giving this book a 5/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.
