      I am working through The Kings and Queens of England series by Easton Press and this is just the third book. Warren's Henry II was an exceptionally well researched and balanced writing of a controversial figure of history, though not readily accessible to the average reader. This work is nearly 90 years old and the scholarship piece by comparison is lacking. The book is well written, is an easy, quick read and serves as a solid primer.
