At Christmas, Santa Claus is always the star of the show. But when a raggedy department store Santa starts to literally steal the show, Beatrice Young and her trio of feline detectives jump into action. (And not only because the snarky Santa thief snagged the very last Skate and Sing Elsa!)The Santa Claws Bandit is a cute, cozy, holiday read. It's a short book, too, so you can easily enjoy the entertainment over a place of cookies and milk while waiting up for Good St. Nick!

A nice, short warm cozy. Great for getting you in the Christmas spirit if you are struggling with it as I was. (If you like cozies). Beatrice is after the Santa Claus who steals from department stores like a Robin Hood, in the middle of her own busy Christmas preparations. Reading this in front of the lit Christmas tree last night was such a joy for me.

The Santa Claws Bandit, A Beatrice Young Cozy Cat Mysteryby Alannah RogersThis is the second book I've read in this series. I found it a quick and pleasant read. Not really a full novel, but more a novella length. The characters are consistent and easy to identify with, and there is a lot of action that well paced and has easy flow. The theme, obviously, is Christmasy, and I keep some to-be-read-during-the-holidays books around for this time of year. This was my first this year, and it was a goo [...]

Light, entertaining cozy mystery (no murder) starring a senior female sleuth and her three detective cats. Lovely concept and setting. Comical antics.

Ho, Ho, Ho Mystery Makes for Lots of Ha, Ha, Ha!A thoroughly enjoyable cozy featuring delightful baked goods, the bakery that creates them, 3 cat detectives, over 50 Santas (1 of whom is a burglar), a wonderful protagonist with a super supporting cast, and lots of laughs. I want to visit them all again soon!

This is my first experience with Beatrice and her trio of cats, but I plan to remedy that situation in the near future. If this book is any indication, I am going to LOVE this series. This is a great Christmas read. Beatrice is busy with holiday orders at the Cozy Cat Cafe, practices for A Christmas Carol, and gift shopping. When Santa shows up during her shopping trip and steals toys, including one Beatrice had her eye on, she gets herself right in the middle of the investigation. There is humor [...]

This was a fun Christmas story about a Santa that stole toys from stores to give to children from poor families. It did a very good job of showing the spirit of Christmas and showing the things that really count, not how expensive your present is. I got confused a few times when extra words were put in the sentence or words were backward, but I could always figure it out. As always, I wish my cats would act like Beatrice's cats.

What a Christmas Story! Book 5 Is a definite winner. I loved the Christmas themed mystery and as usual the cast of regulars was a hit. You just can't beat cats wearing Christmas sweaters. I think Beatrice has become my heroine. I'd love to be a crazy cat lady just like her.

Santa ClawsLoved the book, the characters were for the most part well thought out and fairly complex. The missing words drove me crazy though, I can fill in the, but, and, but this was important words just gone.

The Santa Claws BanditThis cosy mystery has so much fun, food, coffee, tea, and cat's yes cat's. I really enjoyed this fast paced story about my favorite holiday. Take a break from all that shopping and baking to find a quiet place and read this book.

Cat sleuthsI enjoy cozy mysteries that have animals playing a role especially fury ones. This book has a Santa playing Robbin Hood so needy kids can enjoy Christmas. If you like light hearted mysteries you will enjoy this book

The crime was unbelievable as well as the criminal. Did not care for any of the characters.
