The South West Innovation Accelerator Programme (SWIAP) Convergence project enables local businesses to access the specialist knowledge and expertise held within the further education colleges and currently includes two days of funded support and consultancy. Accessing this specialist support helps businesses to innovate and develop new/improved processes & products which will enhance business performance and generate economic growth. FIS has been providing sector-related expertise and advice to food & drink businesses based in the South-West through Duchy College for a number of years. Tailored support is offered for all technical issues ranging from new product and process development, product and process optimisation, auditing and technical project support. The team have unrivalled industry knowledge and have experience of working with many major UK and international food companies over the last 20 years.
