Why Cornwall foodfinder?

Why Cornwall foodfinder?

Cornwall’s most comprehensive service to food and drink buyers, no matter how big or small.

From a chef’s point of view, to have a directory like this is really fantastic!

At Ripley’s we pride ourselves on using as much local and seasonal produce as possible and having an abundance of this on the doorstep makes a chef’s life easy. We won’t use out of season foods from the other side of the world when foodfinder provides the contacts to source the finest home grown seasonal produce.

Our customers always comment on the flavour of our food and when the raw materials are as good as the Cornish produce we cook, preparation is simple.

Locals and tourists are enthusiastic about buying and eating Cornish food and drink, so like to see local foods on the menu.

I am continually finding new flavours and never tire of the search for new products. I would like to say a big thank you to all the suppliers we have in Cornwall who continue to produce some of the finest food and drink in the country. They say a good chef is as good as the team behind him but good suppliers and producers are where it begins. I am grateful to mine who share my passion and enthusiasm for good food, and feel sure that you’ll find the same kind of companies in foodfinder.

Cornwall foodfinder is a partnership between Cornwall Taste of the West and Cornwall Enterprise which aims to fill the knowledge and information gap, with what we believe is the first guide of this kind for Cornwall , produced in print and using the Internet. We hope it will be more than just a business to business guide to producers, processors, wholesalers and retailers of Cornish food and drink. Our aim is to provide the information that businesses need about product availability, delivery and so on as well as becoming an essential route to market for new producers and new products.
